Tahini Two Ways

I love tahini and I love middle-eastern food.
My infatuation with good middle-eastern food has inspired me to use tahini in various ways, both savory and sweet.
Some thoughts about tahini…
Here’s a photo of Tahini that I brought back with me from London.
Two of my favorite brands are Blue Mountain Organics or Artisana
These are tahini date truffles that I made using tahini rather than almond butter from this Sprouted Kitchen recipe.

Old Friends, New Friends, Great Food

Last week was a stellar friends and food week for me.

I love to cook at home about 99% of the time, but I also love a date night with my husband. Since Kyle is away from home so much due to fishing, I usually have to go outside the home to find a good date!  This also applies to weddings (except for my own.)
